I hope to find a workaround for the applications that don't run and all will be set. It's not the best situation right now but at least the R7 is performing with full power now! Just the problem now that i can't open the AMD radeon settingsĪnd many games show errors referring that my card doesn't support DX11 for some reason like (AC Unity - COD Ghosts) Note: I had to stop the drivers from updating automatically by the MS troublshooter tool. Now AMD radeon settings doesn't open nor give any errorsīut i could open the additional settings to choose the card for each game and applicationĪnd the games that i could run were performing amazingly great. So the only case i could have 2 different drivers one for each device is by manually referring the 8610G to another driver dated īut now the r7 remains dated with the new driver I ignored the fact that HD 8610G is dominant and installed the new driver for the R7 and it installs fine but it updates both GPU devices to this driver. I desperately need help finding the right driver !
HP driver completes installation but gives a warning in the end. There was a time when i could run many games smoothly but unfortunately i have no clue which driver could get the R7 to perform that powerful and still stay compatible with the HD 8610G. The R7 is having performance issues and almost anygame will lag frequently at least. So both drivers that HP provided and AMD suggests are actually for legacy drivers the HD 8610G card is old and not supported anymore (Legacy) unlike the R7 M260 which is still supported in new drivers till this day. My Pavillion 15-p289sa notebook has ( A10-5745M APU with Radeon HD 8610G Graphics card) and a linked Radeon R7 M260 Graphics cardĪnyway. I'll try to make it clear as much as i can.
